We had a beautiful day with Antonio. He is a connoisseur of the Guanajuato region … bringing us to little-touristed mining towns, along spectacular vistas where we learned to throw the Mexican slingshot over a lake … then on to the lovely town of Dolores Hidalgo where we threw back tequilas in a cowboy bar and ate the world-famous ice cream in the square … and finally on to the stunning church with ex votoes in Llanito, finding a potter along the way where we could try our hand on the potter’s wheel. These experiences could not have happened without Antonio and his expertise and warmth. We recommend him highly! You would be lucky to spend the day with him while in Guanajuato.
